it's my party Cannes: Spirit of brasil — Sagatiba Party
The salsa vibrancy of Brasil made a welcomed appearance at the 59th Film Festival through a new feature documentary called 'Pure Spirit of Brasil' which was launched at the Sagatiba Party with a bevy of celebrities.
The theme of the documentary finds out why Brasilians have such a healthy attitude towards life and asks other probing questions like: How is it that Brasilians embrace each day with such a positive lust for life that ensures that rather than being ruled by time, they manage to make the most of every moment?
The ambitious project produced by world-famous O2 Filmes (creator of poignant ‘City of God’) and co-produced in partnership with GUM — Saatchi&Saatchi’s new global branded content division in London — will delve into all areas of Brasilian glory from football, and dance to music and food. And, with the World Cup fast approaching, what better time to launch it considering the significant contribution Brasil has made to football.
The one-hour documentary was shot in four Brasilian cities — Salvador, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Florianópolis and will feature special appearances from Pelé (the world famous footballer) and showcases other key people who are responsible for the dynamic Brasilian spirit.
